Проблема с mysql - не запускается

Уже 2 часа пробую решить ошибку mysql

 ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

Все, что нашел в интернете - не помогло. Система - Debian 8
